- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of non-contact metal honeycomb seals. This standard is applicable to non-contact metal honeycomb seals for turbomachinery with shaft diameters from 50mm to 1000mm such as centrifugal compressors, blowers, steam turbines and gas turbines.
