Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and safety of ruthenium trichloride products for electrolytic cell metal anode coatings. This standard applies to ruthenium trichloride solids and hydrochloric acid aqueous solutions prepared with metal ruthenium powder or ruthenium compounds as the main raw material and prepared by the sodium hypochlorite method for the production of metal anode coatings.
