Scope

This specification applies to the calibration of temperature calibrators. The temperature calibrator can be coupled with a thermal resistor or thermocouple to measure temperature, or it can simulate the output of a thermal resistor, thermocouple or process signal to calibrate secondary temperature instruments. The temperature calibrator (hereinafter referred to as the calibrator) can be part of a multifunctional calibrator.
