Scope

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the polyvinyl chloride insulated and sheathed cables to be used for circuit of 600 V or under, which employ a compound mainly composed of polyvinyl chloride (hereafter referred to as "PVC") as the insulation and sheath (hereafter referred to as "cables").
