Scope: This standard stipulates the minimum performance and specific size requirements for milking equipment under the premise of ensuring milking performance. At the same time, specific regulations have been made on the material, structure, installation and other requirements of milking equipment. This standard applies to milking equipment for cows and buffaloes, but also for milking equipment for dairy sheep and goats, or for other milking mammals. This standard is not fully applicable to milking equipment with special design requirements, such as: - single-pipe milking equipment; - milking equipment with double vacuum system; - milking equipment without pulsation milking; - pulsating pump equipment; Small mobile units with separate vacuum pumps for each milking unit; - milking units with separated milk and air; - milking units with compressed air pulsation systems or other special pulsation characteristics.
