This standard specifies the terms and definitions of 43 kg/m~75 kg/m rails, information required for ordering, type dimensions and limit deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings and quality certificates, quality assurance, etc. This standard is applicable to 43 kg/m~75 kg/m hot-rolled and online heat-treated rails for railways with a maximum operating speed of 160 km/h. Heat-treated rails for high-speed railways can be implemented as a reference.
