Scope: This standard specifies the measurement methods, measurement conditions, measurement devices and measurement uncertainties for measuring insertion loss, echo reduction and sound absorption coefficient of underwater acoustic material samples by pulse tube method, free field method and pressure tank near field method. This standard is applicable to the measurement of insertion loss, echo reduction and sound absorption coefficient of underwater acoustic materials and component samples. Among them, the pulse tube method is suitable for the measurement of small samples, and the free field method and pressure tank near-field method are suitable for the measurement of large samples in different frequency bands. .
