Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, and instructions for use of water level measuring instruments. This standard is applicable to various water level measuring instruments with different working principles for measuring the water level of rivers, lakes, channels, reservoirs, underground, tanks and other water bodies. This standard does not apply to water level measuring instruments and liquid level gauges used in other occasions.
