- Scope
- This part specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, and instructions for use of hydrographic measuring rods. This part applies to measuring rods for direct measurement of water depth in open channels and tidal estuaries and measuring rods for suspending velocity measuring or sampling instruments such as current meters and samplers for measuring point positioning.
