Scope

This standard specifies the quality control techniques and inspections for the geometrical and material quality characteristics of the following types of sliding bearings: - metal thin-walled flanged and flangeless bearings as specified in ISO 3548; Ratio of thickness to outer diameter S3: D_o>O.11 flanged and non-flange metal thick-walled bearing bushes; — Coiled bushings that comply with the ISO 3547 series standards; — Single-layer or multi-layer - Integral metal bushings with flanges and without flanges, made of multi-layer materials, whose outer diameter D_o is not greater than 230 mm; - Integral thermoplastics with flanges and without flanges, with inner diameter D_i≤200 mm Shaft sleeves; —full circle and semicircular thrust washers in accordance with ISO 6525 and ISO 6526; —sintered shaft sleeves in accordance with ISO 2795.
