- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model designations, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of household and similar aquariums. This standard is applicable to domestic and similar aquariums (hereinafter referred to as aquariums) for indoor use, with tanks made of glass materials, rated water capacity not greater than 2 000 L, and rated voltage not greater than 250 V. This standard does not apply to aquariums for outdoor use or for commercial use (such as for underwater worlds). For wall-mounted aquariums, or aquariums made of tempered glass, organic materials or other materials, this standard can be referred to.
