- Scope
- This standard specifies the performance characterization method of tristimulus value colorimeters used to measure the chromaticity coordinates of light sources. This standard applies to all tristimulus colorimeters for measuring the color of light sources that provide illuminance or luminance values. Colorimeters with built-in light sources for measuring the color of reflective and transmissive materials are not within the scope of this standard.
