Scope

Important note: For any nozzle, due to the nozzle structure; operating conditions and adjustment methods are diverse, so at least theoretically, a large number of related tests are required. Under the condition that the test accuracy requirements are met, the testing agency and the manufacturer can use the interpolation method to reduce the number of actual tests. This part specifies the test conditions and test methods for the water distribution characteristics of sprinkler heads for agricultural irrigation. It mainly includes indoor and outdoor rain gauge radial layout method and rain gauge grid grid layout method. This part applies to the testing of specific properties such as water distribution uniformity, sprinkler range and spray height of all types of irrigation sprinklers in the ISO 15886-1 classification. This section does not apply to mobile irrigation systems or sprinklers with a range of less than 1.0 m. This section does not involve the antifreeze performance test of sprinklers used under freezing conditions, nor does it involve the spectral measurement and characteristics of water droplets, as well as related issues such as soil compactness, droplet drift, and evaporation loss. When using this standard to evaluate the irrigation area, the test nozzles should be consistent and arranged according to a repeatable fixed geometry.
