Scope
This standard specifies the concept of introducing environmental factors into the design and development of electrical products for use by all personnel involved in product design and development, regardless of the type, size, geographical location and complexity of the organization; applicable to all new or Changing the design of electrical and electronic equipment. This standard applies to those directly involved in product development, those responsible for setting policies within the organization, and those involved in decision-making processes.
