Scope

This standard specifies the basic parameters and measurement methods of electronic tuners for television broadcast receivers. This standard applies to very high frequency/ultra high frequency (VHF/UHF) electronic tuners for television broadcast receivers. Electronic tuners for video recorders can also be used with reference.
