Scope

This standard specifies the pathogen isolation and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) detection methods of viral encephalopathy and retinopathy (viral encephalopathy and retinopathy, VER). This standard applies to the epidemiological investigation, diagnosis, quarantine and monitoring of VER pathogens.
