Scope

This standard specifies the width, maximum outer diameter, inner diameter and minimum bore chamfer dimensions of separable beveled retaining rings for cylindrical roller bearings of diameter series 0, 2, 3 and 4 in accordance with ISO 15. Since the overall width and other geometric features depend on the internal structure of the bearing, they are not specified in this standard.
