This part specifies the basic requirements for stationary vacuum insulated cryogenic pressure vessels (hereinafter referred to as cryogenic vessels). This section applies to cryogenic containers in the following ranges. The working pressure is not less than 0.1MPa (excluding the static pressure of the liquid column), and the product of the working pressure and the geometric volume is not less than 2.5MPa·L. The inner vessel and outer shell are of steel construction. The insulation method is a cryogenic container with vacuum insulation, vacuum powder insulation, vacuum fiber insulation or high vacuum multi-layer insulation. This section does not apply to cryogenic containers in the following ranges: Spherical cryogenic containers. Stack insulated cryogenic containers. Mobile cryogenic container. Cryogenic containers for storing cryogenic liquids with a standard boiling point lower than -196°C. There are special requirements for cryogenic containers for military purposes.
GB/T 18442.1-2011 Static vacuum insulated cryogenic pressure vessel.Part 1: General requirements has been changed from GB 18442-2001 Cryo-insulation pressure vessels.
