Systematic layout planning always needs systematic information and handling analysis or process orientated materials flow analysis as it is called in our days actually. Solutions to solve the main problem dimensioning of plant areas in total or details are mostly unknown. This guideline is an approved tool of calculation for newly planned projects and even existing plant areas when products or structures change. It is to use for building up new plants, extension of existing plants and even for cutting down plants and/or plant areas.This can happen by the way of numerical calculations without the unsafe of rough estimations, often used because of missing skill.
