VDI/VDE 2617 Blatt 4-2006 Accuracy of coordinate measuring machines - Characteristics and their checking - Manual for the use of DIN EN ISO 10360-3 for coordinate measuring machines with additional axes of rotation
A rotary table within the meaning of the guideline incorporates an axis of rotation within a accordinate measuring machine. Deviations from an ideal axis of rotation and from the correct angle of rotation enlarge the measuring uncertainty of measurements carried out within the scope of an interaction between the rotary table and the coordinate measuring machine. The component deviations of this rotary table are defined, and procedures for their determination are described.
