Scope

This standard specifies the pathogen identification methods and result determination of bacterial diseases of catfish caused by Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. This standard is applicable to the detection of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia isolated from channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) and clouded catfish (Ictalurus nebulosus).
