Scope: This standard specifies the calculation method for the static liquid volume of crude oil, petroleum products and petrochemical products (hereinafter referred to as oil products) in oil storage containers, defines the terms used in the calculation of static oil volume, and gives the formulas for calculating certain correction coefficient values . The principle is that regardless of whether the basic data is collected manually or automatically, different users can calculate consistent results using the same basic data (tank volume meter, liquid level, density and temperature, etc.). This standard is applicable to the calculation of oil volume in vertical cylindrical oil tanks, oil ships, railway tank cars, horizontal cylindrical oil tanks, automobile tank cars and other oil storage containers under normal pressure. This standard does not cover the calculation of the oil volume of wall oil, non-liquid substances, trace oil residues and oil-air spaces. The reference conditions for calculating the static oil quantity in this standard are: the standard temperature is 20°C, and the atmospheric pressure is 101.325 kPa.
