Scope

This standard specifies the classification, model marking, materials and structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging and storage of non-metallic supports such as flat supports, trough supports, tapered supports and support pins for balances. This standard applies to non-metallic supports for balances (hereinafter referred to as non-metallic supports).
