This standard specifies the terms and definitions of large-scale controlled atmosphere pit carburizing furnace production lines, carburizing furnace classifications and main technical parameters of the production line, design and manufacturing, supporting facilities, heat treatment technology, heat treatment workpiece quality control and inspection, reliability, safety Requirements for hygiene, environmental protection and energy consumption, inspection and test methods, etc. This standard applies to the design, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance of large-scale electrically heated controlled-atmosphere well-type carburizing furnace production lines with a maximum operating temperature of 950°C.
