Scope

This standard specifies the principles for the safe management of moorings and tied equipment in offshore oil operations, and provides guidelines for use, maintenance, inspection and disposal. This standard applies to the safety management of moorings and tied equipment in offshore oil operations. Water oil operations in inland lakes and other places shall be implemented accordingly.
