Scope

This standard specifies safety procedures for the operation and inspection of electrical installations on offshore petroleum facilities. This standard applies to the safe operation and management of electrical installations in offshore oil facilities. Petroleum operations on water in inland lakes shall be implemented accordingly. Offshore oil facilities include offshore oil operation facilities and offshore oil production facilities.
