This standard specifies the appearance, shape, tolerance limits, dimensions, mass, and tolerances of sections manufactured by hot rolling. The scope of application of this standard and the selection of matters specified in this standard shall be specified in each product standard or based on an agreement between the parties concerned. Unless otherwise specified, the main body shall apply, but the appendix may be applied instead of the main body by agreement between the parties concerned.
