Scope
This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forging, flash welded rings, and stock for forging or flash welded rings. Primarily for parts requiring good weldability and high strength-to-weight ratio operating from -250 to -423 °F (-155 to -255 °C), but usage is not limited to such applications. The room and elevated temperature strengths of this alloy are lower than those of AMS 4926 and AMS 4966.
