- This standard specifies the performance test, type test and factory test methods for cylindrical gear transmission, or marine gearboxes with wet plate friction clutches or fluid couplings to achieve clutch or forward and reverse functions. This standard is applicable to the bench test of marine gearboxes with deceleration function, or both clutch or forward and reverse functions, as well as other forms of gearboxes with the same functions.
