Scope: The purpose of the present Recommendation is to provide the abstract test suite (ATS) and partial protocol implementation extra information for testing (PIXIT) proforma for network integration testing (NIT) to verify the overall compatibility of SIP networks based on session initiation protocol (SIP) and session description protocol (SDP) as specified in [ETSI TS 124 229] in compliance with the relevant requirements and in accordance with the relevant guidance given in [ITU-T X.296] and [ETSI ETS 300 406].
