Scope: This standard specifies the test methods and calculation procedures for the thermal performance of solar air collectors. This standard applies to flat-plate solar air collectors with a single inlet and a single outlet (hereinafter referred to as flat-plate collectors) that use solar radiation heating, have a transparent cover, and have a heat transfer medium of air. It is a non-concentrating all-glass vacuum tube solar air collector for air (hereinafter referred to as vacuum tube collector).
