Scope

This specification specifies the metrological characteristics, calibration conditions and calibration methods of the type A display ultrasonic flaw detector transducer (also known as the probe). This specification is applicable to the calibration of probes with center frequencies in the range of 0.5 MHz to 15 MHz.
