Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for cermet (including corrugated) X-ray tubes. This standard applies to cermet X-ray tubes for industrial flaw detection below 500kV (hereinafter referred to as cermet tubes).
