- This standard specifies the product code and basic structural parameters, requirements, yarn guide tests, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of phenolic plastic troughs. This standard applies to phenolic plastic grooved drums used in non-automatic winders for cross-winding cotton, wool and chemical fiber yarns. This standard also applies to phenolic plastic troughs used in doubling machines and air-jet spinning machines.
