Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, markings, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of mechanically stirred animal cell culture tanks. This standard applies to mechanically stirred animal cell culture tanks (hereinafter referred to as culture tanks) for batch culture or perfusion culture of animal cells in biopharmaceuticals such as vaccines, antibodies, and genetically recombinant protein drugs.
