This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model compilation methods, technical requirements, test categories and test items, test methods and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of fuel heaters. This standard applies to liquid fuel-burning heaters for low-temperature starting, preheating and heating of internal combustion engine power devices such as automobiles, tractors, engineering machinery, locomotives, and ships, as well as heating of carriages, cabins, and cabs, and defrosting of windshields (hereinafter referred to as heater).
