- This part of JB/T 8118 specifies the technical requirements, inspection and assessment methods, and classification of the metallographic structure of the carburized layer depth and metallographic structure of internal combustion engine piston pins made of 20, 15Cr, 20Cr or 20Mn2 steel after heat treatment. This section is applicable to the inspection of the carburized layer depth and metallographic structure of the piston pin of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter not greater than 200 mm.
