Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for overvoltage and overcurrent protection of access network equipment. This standard applies to various access network equipment, including but not limited to equipment placed in the computer room installation environment, outdoor installation environment and user building installation environment. This standard does not apply to wireless base stations, wireless access equipment and user terminal equipment. This standard does not involve protection against radiated electromagnetic fields.
