Scope
This part of JB/T 5268 specifies the model, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of lead sheaths for cables. This section is applicable to lead sheaths for paper-insulated power cables with AC rated voltage 35kV and below and communication cables with long-term internal pressure not exceeding 0.07MPa. Lead sheaths for control cables, signal cables or instrument cables can also be used as a reference. This section does not apply to lead sleeves with other special requirements or structures.
