Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, codes and parameters, appearance, installation and connection dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, reliability tests, and inspections of telescopic drill pipes for construction machinery and equipment rotary drilling rigs (hereinafter referred to as drill pipes). Rules, markings, packaging, transportation and storage, use, repair and maintenance. This standard applies to telescopic drill pipes used in rotary drilling rigs. This standard does not apply to other slender drill pipes.
