This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forgings, flash welded rings, and stock for forging or flash welded rings. These products have been used typically for parts requiring good weldability and ductility, combined with good notch-toughness down to -320 °F (-196 °C), but usage is not limited to such applications.
