Scope
This part of GB/T 15445 is to provide some theoretical basis for the particle size characterization method of the particle system whose cumulative particle size distribution obeys the lognormal probability distribution, and can clearly verify the calculation made by the particle size distribution function. This section explains the design of lognormal probability graph paper and the calculation methods of moment, median diameter, average particle diameter and volume-specific surface area. The lognormal probability distribution is often suitable for expressing cumulative particle size distributions of any dimension. This standard applies to the cumulative distribution characterized by number, length, area, volume or mass, which can be represented by a series of parallel lines, and the position of all other lines can be determined from the position of any one of them. .
