Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test criteria, fire test methods, valve performance requirements, valve evaluation, and test reports for fire resistance tests of elastic seal part-turn valves. This standard applies to elastic sealing part-turn valves designed according to GB/T 12237 (excluding driving devices). The fire resistance test of other valves can refer to this standard.
