Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, sampling, inspection and quarantine, result determination, handling of unqualified products, storage and transportation conditions, and inspection and quarantine validity period for import and export of fresh eggs and egg products. This standard applies to the inspection and quarantine of imported and exported fresh or refrigerated poultry eggs and processed egg products such as iced eggs, dried eggs, salted eggs, and preserved eggs using poultry eggs as raw materials.
