Scope

This standard specifies the protection scope, terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of Xinchang peanut (Xiaojingsheng)'s geographical origin protection. This standard is applicable to Xinchang peanuts (Xiaojingsheng) approved for protection by the national quality supervision, inspection and quarantine administrative department in accordance with the "Regulations on the Protection of Products in Regions of Origin".
