Scope: This standard specifies a method for coating or non-coating metal materials in one or more pollutant gases with a concentration not greater than 10^-6 (volume fraction) under certain temperature and relative humidity conditions. The method by which test specimens or products are subjected to corrosion tests. This standard applies to: - metals and their alloys; - certain metal coatings (anodic or cathodic); - certain conversion coatings (see Appendix B); - certain anodic oxidation coatings (see Appendix B ); — organic coatings on the surface of metallic materials.
