A subject index of interpretations is included in thisbooklet on pages 29 through 45. This index includes allinterpretations that have been issued on the A17.1 Codesince 1972.The interpretations are listed in order by the subjects(Part, Section, Rule, etc.). The ”Edition” refers to theedition or addenda of the Code on which the interpretationwas rendered, e.g., “85a” refers to A17.1a–1985.The “Bk. No.” refers to the interpretations bookletnumber in which the interpretation was published. Theinterpretations that were issued from 1972 through 1979were published in a separate book which may be purchasedfrom ASME. Subsequent interpretations wereissued in separate booklets which have accompaniedeach edition and supplement of the A17.1 Code since1981. These are listed below.Books 2 through 13 have also been compiled in aseparate publication which may be purchased from ASME.
