- For the purpose of external and internal retraceability (production, stockkeeping, intake and placing of orders, shipment resp. returning) of products, each single product needs to be identifiable by a unique identification mark. This identification mark must be independent of the technology which is used (Barcode, 2D - Codes or RFID).
