- This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, defect assessment, flaw detection records, etc. for fluorescent magnetic particle flaw detection of new rolling stock axles. This standard is applicable to the magnetic particle flaw detection of new rolling stock axles using the fluorescent magnetic particle wet continuous method. The magnetic particle flaw testing process of rolling stock maintenance axles and motor vehicle axles can also be implemented with reference to this standard.
