- Scope
- This standard specifies the N-chlorocetylpyridine-sodium sulfite spectrophotometric method for the determination of TNT in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of TNT in wastewater from the ammunition charging industry. When using a 30 mm cuvette, the detection limit of the method is 0.05 mg/L, and the determination range is 0.2~4 mg/L. For samples whose TNT concentration is higher than the upper limit of the method, they can be measured after appropriate dilution.
